Major update to my NORDIC RESPONSE campaign, including all new voice-overs & many dialog changes, numerous mission changes and more (outlined in attached Readme file).

Nordic Response is a 'realistic lite' campaign for the Viggen, consisting of 12 missions, many of which are loosely based on / inspired by Heatblur's Mjolnir Response and Wrath of Thunder campaigns. This time, however, the action will take place not over the Caucasus, but the Kola peninsula, depicting a hypothetical war between NATO and Russia in the early 1990s. What’s more, in Nordic Response the player is also to carry out an interception, as well as performing Toss Bombing & Radar Bombing missions, among other things.

Been a ‘realistic lite’ campaign, Nordic Response is neither super realistic nor super hardcore. I tried to make things as plausible as I could, but it was also important to me to create a (hopefully) fun and entertaining experience. Besides, I’m not an expert in the matter. It would subsequently be one of the Phantoms in the "Phantom Pharewell" send-off celebration on June 27, 2013 at Wittmundhafen Air Base, Germany. All Phantoms were subsequently retired from service with the Luftwaffe.

Bankler's famous Trap Training mission moved to Kola after permission from Bankler.

I have edited some of the surrounding parts of the mission and added a few things.

- Statics and AI activity on the carrier from mission start
- Human airborne jets moved to 30nm to give a good time to set up the brake
- Carrier Group consistency changed to mimic CVW-8 in 2006 (https://www.seaforces.org/usnair/CVW/Carrier-Air-Wing-8.htm)
- units used from other mods (FRENCHPACK, desdemicabina-simulations Álvaro de Bazán, Military Aircraft Mod, EA_6B, A-4E-C, T-45) - I opted to add the mods as dependencies as they are all stunning work and ad a bit of atmosphere and realism to the mission.
- New scripting to give updated BRC course from the carriers magnetic heading. Can be called via menu on demand.
- Added Recovery Tanker, AWACS and Caps via moose scripting

This is why I created a summary of all the procedures as kneeboard pages. I included a ready-to-use PNG version and the original multi-layered photoshop version, so you can adjust them if needed. Included is also the VR friendly Virpil HOTAS mappings I use.

Established in 1970, the 425th Fighter Aviation Regiment ‘Blackwidows’ would be established prompted by poor performance of Yuktobanian supplied aircraft to foreign allies on the Verusean continent.

The Squadron using a collection of MiG-23 and MiG-21 fighters would simulate Osean and Emmerian F-4 and later F-15 and F-16 fighters in simulated dog fights. The training the 425th provided to the Yuktobanian Air Forces being credited with their successes later during the cold-war and then in 1995 during the Belkan War. Following that and the adoption of Belkan trained aircrews, the 425th was forced into an auxiliary role until after the 2010 Circum-Pacific war with Osea.

Today the squadron still operates out of the deserts of Jilachi as a feared aggressor unit of the Yuktobanian military.

FOB Thunder, located approximately 17 nautical miles southwest of Jalalabad, has been cut off from its resupply lines after an ambushed convoy was completely destroyed. The base is now critically low on essential supplies, including ammunition, medical equipment, and rations. Without immediate replenishment, operational effectiveness will be severely compromised.
With ground routes compromised, air resupply is the only viable option. Your task is to deliver five cargo pallets (approximately 10,000 lbs) to FOB Thunder using a CH-47F Chinook departing from Kabul Airfield.
In addition to the supply crisis, six wounded personnel at FOB Thunder require urgent medical evacuation to Kabul. Given the extent of their injuries, time is of the essence.

This is an extra hard mission.

NOTE Eagle dynamics please note the name of the file "Torture map" became famous, so i'm leaving it as is. its NOT intended to refer to any personal harm. Just to "torture" the CPU and GPU by having active units on the map. Please do not remove, this file, if needed please rename and remove the word only if you search youtube you will find dozens of people using this map.

This map is designed for the purposes of testing the DCS world performance, while flying over terrain with some aircraft, sam, and ground units. It will tax the CPU around the same level as a fairly complex server/mission.
